Mimosa de Parchita

  • Sugar
  • 6 to 8 ounces chilled champagne
  • 6 to 8 ounces chilled passion-fruit juice
  • Maraschino cherries with stems (optional)

Frost the rims of 2 champagne glasses by wetting them and pressing the glasses upside down into a small bowl of sugar. Fill each glass with equal amounts of champagne and passion-fruit juice. Garnish each with a maraschino cherry, if desired. Makes 2 drinks.
