6 Tips On How To Get Traffic With An Impressive Resource Box
Article marketing is a great way to pull in traffic and profit by also including a resource box that can expand on your expertise. Most people miss this most critical element, and that is why I am offering the following 6 tips on how to get traffic with an impressive resource box..
What is a resource box? For the beginners out there, a resource box is the section at the end of every article where you are encouraged to invite your reader to learn more from you by clicking on links back to your websites/blog or landing page. ,p>Below, is an example of my resource box.
The mindset of a resource box is to offer your reader a solution to their problem. Tell them a little about yourself but also what you can do for them. Once your reader gains the knowledge they were looking for, word gets around. People will visit your site because your article and resource box is genuinely helpful.
There is no exact length to a resource box. Most resource boxes are simply a couple of lines. However, the length of your resource box should be determined by the article directory you submit your content too. I personally believe that a length of at least 4 to 6 lines of text is enough to introduce yourself and your expertise within your niche. The goal is to avoid any type of hype as this is the quickest way to turn away high quality prospects.
A call to action tells the reader what you want them to do next. For example, download an eBook, sign up for a webinar, get a coupon, attend an event, etc. This is where you want that action to provide your reader with a solution to their needs. You can add something like "Start your free trial today" and then follow up with a landing page to promote your offer.
4. The trade
Your resource box should also invite your reader/prospect to an opt-in page. There, your reader can provide their email address to receive additional quality information from you. Make it a compelling offer full of clear benefits. You might also want to give them something for free just for signing up. This is a great way to grow your e-mail list.
5. Let it flow
Since the resource box is the next paragraph in the conclusion of your article, it should flow nicely right at the end of your article. A great way to make it flow, is to continue your articles' content with a further CTA recommendation. Provide them with additional information on the subject matter to something beneficial and helpful.
6. The brand
Your quality brand tells the prospect about your great product/service. It is important that you communicate your brand in a positive and creative format when including it in your resource box.
